An introduction to desktop publishing concepts, this course shows students how to use the computer and desktop publishing software to design publications such as newsletters, business cards, advertisements, brochures, etc. Elements of attractive page layout and design are also covered. Additional lab time may be required. Prerequisite: BOT 1143 Word Processing. 2 hours lecture, 2 hours lab.
