CO-REQUISITE: NUR-220; Continues to focus on the role of the professional nurse as care provider, teacher, manager, professional, and advocate in meeting the comprehensive care needs of children and childbearning families. Develops skills of nursing assessment across the life span using effective communiction, interview techniques, and physical assessment.
