This course meets the 40-hour O.S.H.A. training requirement for working on hazardous waste sites and reviews chemical interactions and effects with an emphasis on health and safety plans. Also includes use of personal protective apparatus and monitoring instruments. Sampling, handling, labeling, emergency responses, decontamination, and "right to know" laws are covered. Prev.
