Provides whitewater boat handling and water reading skills through experience on selected rivers. Students will learn river trip planning, river safety procedures, equipment, logistics, camp management, hazard evaluation, the natural history and archeology of river environments, and minimum environmental impact on river environments. You must be at least 17 years old on the first day of class to take this course. Clock Hours: 60 (LAB)
