PREREQUISITE: PSY-101 or PSY-102; Min. grade C-. Examines the structure, function, and development of personality. Investigates the major contemporary theories of personality. Covers psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive-social learning, humanistic, trait and optionally, neurobiological, existential, and/or Eastern perspectives.The underlying assumptions and research support for these theories are appraised.
