PREREQUISITE: VET-100; Min. grade C. This course is designed to provide students with knowledge of the particular problems encountered with exotic pets. Species would include: pet birds, reptiles, amphibians, tropical fish, ferrets, pet rodents, pet pigs, and others. Topics for each species include: anatomy and physiology, feeding and nutrition, housing, behavior, diseases, and disease prevention. A minimum grade of "C" is required in this course.
