(Prerequisites: CDT 1314, 1713, 1343, 1214, 1224) This course allows child development students to implement knowledge and experience in preparing and implementing positive experiences for young children. Completion of the competencies provides opportunities for students to implement experiences planned in the prerequisites and ensures a balance of all curriculum areas. Not all competencies will be achieved at the end of this course due to the variance that exists in the childhood settings used for student experiences. Other competencies will be achieved and documented by the end of the two-year program of study. (5 sch: 10 hr. lab)
