This course introduces the fundamentals of the UNIX operating system. The course guides students through the basics of UNIX system concepts, architecture and administration. The course also includes networking essentials commonly used in the UNIX environment. Standard UNIX networking tools will be covered, as well as the different "flavors" of UNIX, including Linux.
