Prerequisite: None Introduces the student to the principles of macroeconomics. It will lead the student through the workings of an economic system - with major emphasis on the United States economic system. The course will cover topics such as supply and demand relationships on a national scale, the relationship between economic activity with the money and banking system, unemployment, inflation, productivity, distribution of income, and economic growth.
