Prerequisite: None This course is designed to provide operators of assisted living facilities, residential health care facilities, home plus, and adult day care facilities with information on the principles of assisted living. The aging process and its effect on activities, treatment, and management of the elderly will be presented. Participants who attend all sessions and successfully complete a comprehensive examination will meet the requirements to be an operator as established by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
