Lecture topics include the different systems of the body, medical/legal and ethical issues, vital signs and patient history, patient assessment, caring for life threatening emergencies, diabetes/altered mental status, allergies, poisonings/overdose, environmental/ behavioral emergencies, obstetrics/gynecology, bleeding and shock, soft tissue injuries, head and spine injuries, and infants/children.
