Introduces the basic concepts of pharmacology related to the actions, therapeutic and adverse effects, interaction of drugs, drug classifications, and the basic pharmacology of commonly used medications. Emphasis is placed on nursign consideerations and client education. Learners will apply knowledge gained in selected clinical settings in carying for clients across the lifespan. 2 credits (2 credits theory=30 contact hours).
