4 credits Designed for Oregon state-recognized apprentices employed in a trade or industry related occupation. Designed for Oregon staterecognized apprentices employed in a trade or industry related occupation. This course explores the basic laws of electrical theory and the safety practices employed in the limited electric field. Power quality, trade repairs and installations and blueprint reading will be reviewed along with the NEC codes that regulate the trade. Students learn a knowledge base consisting of the basic theory, vocabulary and safety practices common to limited energy installations.
