This course covers information systems theory, application of information technology in today's organizations, responsibilities of information technology professionals, and how information technology specialists enhance organizational performance. Additionally, approaches to information systems analysis, design, and implementation are described. Classroom emphasis is on theory and concepts, while lab assignments introduce students to flow-charting and project management software.
