1-12 credits Prerequisite: ECE 130 - Child Care and Guidance. Designed to provide the student with actual experience in the supervision, guidance and care of young children. This is work experience in a child care setting. Students have specific assignments and responsibilities and must demonstrate competencies for a grade. They are given the opportunity to observe appropriate curriculum and have increasing responsibility to plan and carry out ageappropriate curriculum activities. They learn to demonstrate consistent appropriate guidance and developmentally appropriate curriculum. Minimum credit sign up-- see division.
