3 credits Prerequisite: SPAN 103 or equivalent with min. grade of C- or first year language competence. Intermediate Spanish course in oral communication. The student has an opportunity for intensive practice in both speaking and listening skills to help improve oral/aural skills in spoken Spanish. Meaningful communication is accomplished through the expansion of vocabulary and expressions, and through interactive activities that permit the exchange of experiences and ideas in various areas of interest. The main themes developed in the course content are expanded through the incorporation of authentic readings and materials chosen from the internet and from literary and nonliterary texts.
