1-9 credits Prerequisite: MFG 201, MFG 202, and MTH 076 Overview of advanced uses of computers in manufacturing including rapid prototyping systems, flexible manufacturing systems, and computer integrated manufacturing. Students will utilize the skills developed in MFG 201 and MFG 202 to create individualized projects demonstrating initial product design concepts, process planning, CNC code generation, and product production on the LCC CNC machines. This course will be presented by lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on experience.
