Covers the theory, diagnostic, service, and repair practices of automotive air conditioning and climate control systems. Presented in the course are the operation and function of vacuum, electrical, refrigeration circuits, and computer controls. Training is provided in the use of manifold gauges, leak detectors and recovery/charging systems. (15 lecture; 90 lab hours) Corequisite: AMT 25; or consent of instructor.
