A descriptive treatment of planets, the solar system, stars and galaxies, as well as concepts of size, distance and time in the observable universe. Several evenings will be devoted to viewing stars and constellations and a telescope will be available for viewing some of the planets. (DP) Prerequisite: MATH 22 and ENG 22 with a grade of C or better of equivalent.
