AMT 60 - Diagnostic and Repair

Integrates all previous AMT course contents in a systematic approach to isolate driveability problems and develop repair techniques for advanced AMT majors. Units of study will include re- pair areas classified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). In this course, pin-point test procedures, adjustments, overhauls, and replacement of components are performed on numerous automobile makes, models and systems. (30 lecture; 180 lab hours) Prerequisite: AMT 53 & 55; and COMM 145 or SP 151; or consent of instructor. Corequisite: AMT 40D.
