English 208 is a poetry writing course designed for students with knowledge of the writing process and some experience in the writing of poetry. Through the creation of original poems and the analysis of published work and student drafts, students will gain knowledge and experience as well as develop creativity within the genre. Prerequisite: ENG 100 or equivalent with a grade of C or higher; or approval from the Language Arts Division. This course may be repeated once for credit. Recommended Preparation: Computer or typing experience
