This course is open to those who want to be prepared to respond effectively to disabling illness or injury. Major topics include basic lifesaving procedures (including CPR), and evaluation of injury and illness in order to provide primary emergency response in the most efficient manner. Prerequisite: Previous or concurrent registration in natural science courses. Adequate reading ability.
