This course is designed to build the oral English skills of non-native speakers of English in order to prepare for academic work in English. This is a high intermediate listening and speaking course and includes practice in group interaction, public speaking and listening comprehension. Open only to international students wishing to prepare for academic work in English. Prerequisite: Completion of ELI Level 2 (C grade or better); placement through testing or approval of the Language Arts Division and ELI Coordinator. Corequisite: ELI 98 B, C, D.
