Introduction to programming in a database programming language. Application requirements are explained through a presentation of a set of data structures, or logical schema, for sample applications. Structured programming techniques and good programming style are emphasized. Students will develop complete menu-driven systems. (45 lecture hours) ( formerly ICS 151Z) ( DO) Prerequisite: MATH 103 or equivalent, ICS 106 (formerly ICS 113) and ICS 135 all with a grade of C or better, or consent of instructor.
