Introduces Hawaiian Mythology in relation to the islands' ecology. Using archaeological pre-historical dating, the course traces the development of myths, legends, and tales of religious and cultural values from the earliest beginnings to the end of Hawaiian chiefly rule. Course meets the Hawaiian Focus requirement at UH Manoa. (formerly HUM 270) (H) Prerequisite: ENG 100 with a grade of C or better or equivalent.
