MATH 73 strengthens the problem-solving skills needed for the transition into MATH 83 (Algebraic Foundations II). MATH 73 studies algebraic concepts and applications through the use of a variety of problem-solving techniques of the following topics: signed numbers, algebraic expressions, equations, exponents, polynomials, special products, and factoring. (Effective Fall 2007) Prerequisite: MATH 22 with a C or getter, or equivalent, within the past two years.
