This course covers the major individuals and political, economic, social, and culture events of the world during the twentieth century. Emphasis will be placed on global relationships, conflict, and changing patterns of interaction among cultures and peoples in an era of near-constant change. (Effective Spring 2007) Prerequisite: ENG 22 with grade of C or above, or consent of instructor Recommended Preparation: HIST 152 is helpful but not necessary for admission to this class.
