Continuation and refinement of basic language skills acquired in Spanish 201. Through videos, study of authentic materials and literary texts, functional review of grammar, written and oral communicative activities supported by an integrated language laboratory program, students will acquire competency in speaking and writing, will gain an increased awareness and appreciation of Hispanic culture and will be able to express ideas and opinions about aspects of American society and the Hispanic world. Prerequisite: SPAN 201 or equivalent.
