Basic structures of Japanese with an emphasis on listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing. Through directed drill and practice in class and in the Learning Resource Center, the student learns to communicate in correct Japanese. Prerequisite: JPNS 101 with a grade of C or better, or JPNS 101 equivalent by placement test or instructor's approval.
