The course emphasizes the diversity of life, evolution, classification, ecology, and a survey of the kinds of plants and animals including their basic anatomy and physiology. Selected experiments are performed to illustrate principles taught in lecture. Prerequisite: BIO 1134. 3 hours lecture, 2.5 hours lab.
