This class is designed to develop skills useful in the selection, equipping and management of a greenhouse or nursery. Emphasis is placed on site selection, greenhouse styles, equipment choices, soil media, irrigation equipment and greenhouse chemicals. During lab classes, students grow and market spring flowers and nursery crops in the campus greenhouse. 1 hour lecture, 4 hours lab.
