The first of a two-semester sequence, this course provides students with a general introduction to cells and tissues, the anatomy and physiology of the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. Prerequisite: ACT composite of 16, ACCUPLACER Reading score of 71, or completion or BIO 1113, 1123, 1133, or 1143 with a "C" or higher. Co-requisite: BIO 2511. 3hours lecture.
