A structured work-site learning experience in which the student, program area teacher, Work-Based Learning Coordinator, and worksite supervisor/ mentor develop and implement an educational training agreement. Designed to integrate the student's academic and technical skills into a work environment. Includes regular meetings and seminars with school personnel for supplemental instruction and progress reviews. 3-9 hours externship. Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in vocational-technical program area course.
