This course is a continuation of ACC 1213. Along with basic accounting for a corporation and a partnership, concepts of managerial accounting are covered. These managerial concepts include cost accounting for a manufacturer, cost-volume-profit analysis, capital investment analysis and budgeting. There is a continued emphasis on using interpretation, communication and decision-making abilities, along with an introduction to some theoretical accounting concepts. Pre-requisite: ACC 1213. 3 hours lecture.
