This course is designed to provide a sound working knowledge of the math necessary for the intelligent handling of many aspects of modern finance, which students need in private life or in business. After successful completion of this course, students should be able to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, percentages, discounts, commissions, depreciation, payroll records, income tax and interest. Evaluation consists of applied testing and assignments. Ten-key touch method on the electronic desktop calculators is stressed. 3 hours lecture.
