This course provides detailed information regarding the overall fundamental processes of biodiesel and ethanol production. It addresses feedstock selection and preparation, a study of the chemical processes and properties of these fuels as well as general plant operation, co-products and fuel quality. This class will also address the environmental and economic impacts of biofuels. Pre-requisites: EG 100; SC 107 and SC 107L.
