This course covers the fundamental principles and concepts of marketing and provides practical exercises in applying these to real life situations. Topics covered include marketing plans, marketing research, consumer and industrial goods markets, consumer behavior, product management, pricing, promotion, the product mix, personal selling, channels of distribution, and marketing of services. Lecture, group discussion, computer simulation, and marketing projects are used to present these topics. This course is offered even numbered years only.
