This course focuses on wide area networks (WANs) and configuration of routers. Topics covered include WAN devices, technologies and standards, router components, router commands and setup, IP addressing, routing protocols, and network troubleshooting. Students will gain hands-on experience configuring routers. This course is the second course in a four-course series that leads towards certification as a CCNA (CISCO Certified Network Associate). Prerequisite: IT 240.
