This course is designed for students with previous truck driving experience who need to refresh their skills to obtain a CDL endorsement. Study of the operation, maintenance and basic components of the semi-truck and trailer will be included as well as the rules associated with log books, and the safety and maintenance required when operating a semi-truck and trailer. At the completion of this part of the course, students will be ready to sit for the CDL written driver's examination. Prerequisite of a valid motor vehicle drivers' license with acceptable driving record and passage of a drug test at the student's expense. Student's must also pass a pre-test given by the instructor to determine their ability to enter this course.
