This course continues the development of the concepts of the roles of the Associate Degree Registered Nurse (ADRN) with emphasis on the roles as provider and manager of care. This course includes concepts of gerontological nursing; basic physiological and psychosocial needs of the adult and geriatric client; caring for the surgical client; and professional nursing concepts, including leadership, management, and legal aspects. A clinical component is included. Pre-requisite: NR 101; Prerequisite/Co-requisite: NR 103; corequisites: NR 104 and NR 112.
