3.00 credits (1.00 lec/2.00 lab) This course is intended for accounting majors and those who want an in-depth exposure to Excel 2000 for Windows. Topics include: worksheet basics, creating a worksheet, creating charts, integrating the worksheet with other Windows programs and the Web, data tables, importing data, and enhancing a worksheet with Visual BASIC. Prerequisites: Placement into READ 0200 or placement into ESOL 0052 or completion of READ 0100 or ESOL 0042 with faculty recommendation into ESOL 0052; placement into MATH 0070 or completion of MATH 0060.
