This course covers measurement and experimental error, kinematics, dynamics, work and energy, momentum, rotational motion, properties of solids and fluids, thermal physics, properties of ideal gases, kinetic theory, and thermodynamics. Students must register for a lecture and laboratory section. Three Credits lecture; one Credit laboratory. Pre-requisite: COMPASS score of 66 or higher on Algebra section and 46 or higher on Trigonometry section. Students who meet the Algebra requirement but not the Trigonometry requirement must co-enroll in MA 113.
