3.00 credits (2.00 lec/1.00 lab) This course deals with the story of leather by giving students insight into its origin and manufacturing process. Practical experience in making a leather garment and finishing techniques in fur will be included. Prerequisites: Placement into READ 0200 or placement into ESOL 0052 or completion of READ 0100 or ESOL 0042 with faculty recommendation into ESOL 0052; placement into MATH 0700 or completion of MATH 0060; APRL 1000, APRL 1350 or instructor approval. Corequisite: APRL 1400.
