4.00 credits (4.00 lec) Students will explore each of the elements of the marketing mix, including product development, pricing strategies, channels of distribution, promotion and buyer behavior. Emphasis will be on analyzing the marketing environment and developing a basic marketing strategy. They will demonstrate their understanding of these marketing elements by analyzing and creating a marketing plan throughout the semester. Prerequisites: Placement into READ 0200 or placement into ESOL 0052 or completion of READ 0100 or ESOL 0042 with faculty recommendation into ESOL 0052; placement into ENGL 1110 or completion of ENGL 0900 or ESOL 0051.
