3.00 credits (1.00 lec/2.00 lab) This course is a continuation of the principles dealt with in Drawing 1. Such subjects as portraiture, the human figure, landscape and still-life are explored. There are demonstrations, slide lectures and studio sessions. Students will learn to respond critically to drawings and to apply aesthetic principles to their own and others' work. Fulfills MnTC Goal Area 6. Prerequisite: ARTS 1121.
