3.00 credits (1.00 lec/2.00 lab) This course will focus on three primary ways of making prints: monoprinting, relief printing and intaglio. While making prints with these methods in both traditional and experimental ways, students will arrive at a style that is uniquely their own. They will also learn about the history of printmaking to understand the uniqueness of prints in the context of other media. Fulfills MnTC Goal Area 6.
