A study of the nature, scope, and effects of the major social problems of today and the theoretical preventative measures to alleviate them. Course includes such problems as unemployment, urbanization, crime, juvenile delinquency, alcoholism, drug addiction, and disaster, family problems include the aged, mentally ill, and retarded.
