3.00 credits (3.00 lec) In this course, students will take a managerial approach in their evaluation and selection of appropriate promotional elements. Major topics include advertising goals, appeals, media evaluation and the advertising agency, leading to the development of a total advertising campaign. They will examine current award-winning newspaper, television, radio and magazine ads with local representatives from each medium, including visits to their respective workplaces.
