2.00 credits (2.00 int) This course provides an opportunity to work with children from diverse backgrounds in an urban early-childhoodeducation setting. Students will observe and assess children's development, establish relationships, assist with caregiving routines, facilitate learning through play, plan and implement activities, and maintain professional relationships. Each week, students will spend six hours in an early-childhood classroom. Prerequisites: Child Development Certificate or instructor approval.
