3.00 credits (2.00 lec/1.00 lab) This course covers the use of more complex timing circuits, counting circuits, photo control circuits and circuits with other high-tech pilot devices. Students will also study Article 430 of the National Electrical Code Book (N.E.C.) to learn the various sections of motor circuits and perform calculations pertaining to motor circuits. Prerequisites: CNEL 1010, CNEL 1050, CNEL 1100, CNEL 1150; placement into READ 1300 or completion of READ 0200 or ESOL 0052; placement into MATH 0080 or completion of MATH 0070; placement into ESOL 0041 or completion of ESOL 0031.
